Information & Rules:

Start Date: June 17th
Wednesdays, 6-week league.

Birth Years: 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014, and 2013
(separate division per birth year and no playing up unless a special request is accepted by the league)

Format: 3v3 Half Ice

League Cost:

  • $290 for Players
  • $190 for Goalies
    Venmo will be the only payment option.

Rules:

  • Two 10 Minute Periods
  • 3 minutes between games, games can end in ties
  • Penalties result in penalty shots
  • The only faceoff is to start the game
  • If a team scores, they must back up to half ice
  • If a team is scored on, they may retrieve the puck and continue play immediately
  • Only 2019, 2018, and 2017 age groups will have a volunteer to open the door
  • If a player receives 3 penalties in one game, they must sit out the remainder of that game
  • Each birth year will have 4 teams
  • Teams will play 3 games each week
  • Each player will be on the ice for approximately 60–70 minutes per session

Team Size:

Rosters will be 7 skaters and 1 goalie

Sub List:

We will maintain a substitute list. If a player is missing, we need to know as soon as possible so we can bring in a replacement.

This is a high-ice-time league, and having enough players available is crucial for maintaining team stamina, competitiveness, and overall league flow.

All games are played at Buffalo Wild Wings Arena in Troy, MI

Times:

Every Wednesday from 7:00 PM – 9:45 PM

Registration Format:

This is an INDIVIDUAL SIGN-UP ONLY. Teams will be created by the league.

We will use the first two weeks to balance and adjust teams as needed. The goal is to ensure that every team has a fair chance to win on any given night.

We will do our best to place players alongside teammates from their current teams when possible.

New this year, we will be looking for a volunteer per age division to help ensure team balance. Without strong knowledge of each age group’s landscape, it is difficult to create fully balanced teams in the first weeks. Having someone familiar with each division will greatly improve parity.

First Come, First Served:

Due to high demand, registration is strictly first come, first served.

Zero Tolerance Policy:

We have adopted a zero tolerance policy for verbal abuse toward officials. Any player removed from a game for verbal abuse will receive a full tournament suspension.

  • First offense: Warning
  • Second offense: Bench minor
  • Third offense: Game misconduct
  • Any removal for verbal abuse results in immediate suspension from further tournament play

There will be no discussion, appeal, or exceptions once a player is removed under this policy.
